The Littlest Dancer Performance
This is an opportunity for our Creative Movement and Pre-Baller Dancers to have their own very special performance. The program consists of classroom techniques as well as a presentation of a children's ballet with choreography adapted from a children's story.

The Littlest dancer performance bundle fee is divided up into equal monthly fees.
The Spring Performance
All ballet, modern, tap, jazz and hip hop students are invited to participate in this professionally presented performance. This production is in conjunction with the Theatre Department of Eastern Illinois University and performed in their Main Theatre in the Doudna Fine Arts Center.

Yes! Please review the following important details about recital costumes.
Costume Fees: Our costume fee is included in our Performance Fee if a student is enrolled in a singular class. If a student is enrolled in more than one class then an additional costume fee will be charged for that second class. Costume amounts are approximate and subject to change. Changes in a student's schedule can result in a change of costume and costume fees. Costume amount includes costume, tights and tax.
Combo classes will perform both two numbers in the recital, but will have only one costume. That costume may be a two in one recital costume. The other option is that accessories of costume pieces may be rented as well.
Students enrolled in multiple levels of ballet classes may have more than one recital costume. Therefore, more than one costume fee may be applied to the account.
Preschool and Community classes classes do not participate in the end of year spring performance and winter performance and will not have that costume charge. Preschool classes do participate in the littlest dancer performance and will have a performance fee for that performance.
All other classes (including Acro) will have one costume per class. After the Class Drop/Add period ends (See Studio Important Dates), dancers who wish to change classes must purchase an additional costume. Change requests may need prior teacher approval.
Payment Due Date: Performance fee if not paid on a monthly plan are to be paid-in-full by November 1 for Winter performance and April 1for spring performances. A late fee will be applied after this date. Deposits Spring performances if not on a payment schedule must be paid by December 1st.
E-payment Accounts: Fees for your dancer's performance will be charged to the card or bank account you have on file unless you have set up a different payment arrangement with the office manager. Performance fees will be drafted at the same time tuition is drafted.
Costume Hand Out: Dancers will receive their costume(s) during our Spring Parent Observation Week. (See Studio Important Dates). Parent Observation week is a great opportunity to see your dancer in their costume for the first time. Don't forget to bring your camera! Accounts must be up-to-date and in good standing prior to receiving your dancer's costume.
Refunds: Starting November 1, costumes are non-refundable and non-transferable. A student that withdraws from a class or the studio after purchasing a costume may pick up the costume in June.(See Studio Important Dates). Costumes left after this designated pick-up timeframe will be donated.
Late Class Changes: To ensure proper costume orders, class changes will not be allowed after mid-October for winter performance and March for Spring Performances (See Studio Important Dates). Dancers wishing to change classes after the Class Drop/Add period ends (but before the New Student Enrollment ends - early January) must have the instructor's permission and must purchase an additional costume. Private lessons may be required for late registrants; this will be at the teacher's discretion.
Each performance will be 2 hrs.
For general safety reasons, we insist that all performers remain backstage during both the dress rehearsal and recital performances. We have plenty of staff and volunteers backstage to keep your dancers entertained while they wait for their dance.
We're prepared backstage to assist with any costume changes while you relax and enjoy the show.
Winter Performance & Littlest Dancer Performances
Your dancer does not have to wear makeup to dress rehearsal. We do recommend some makeup for the recital, though so the stage lighting does not make dancers appear "washed out."

We do hire a professional photographer to take pictures during the dress rehearsals. Parents and gardians are welcome to take pictures of your dancers from your seat only during dress rehearsal. However, flash photography is not permitted.
To protect the inocents of our students there is No photography and video-taping permitted during the recitals. Video-taping is permitted during rehearsals only.
